They feature stairs with a metal railing that fits flush against the open aft creating a seamless ship to shore transportation system that makes it even easier to go exploring the islands—a first in the Galapagos. Each tender also features a hydraulic ramp that makes wet landings in the islands much more convenient—and less wet. It can also be used as a platform that makes getting on and off for snorkeling much easier.
